About the speakers
Glen Gordon is the CTO of VFO – the world’s leading assistive technology provider for the visually impaired. Blind since birth, he has an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School, a software development degree from the school of hard knocks, and over 20 years’ experience playing a leading role in the development of the JAWS Screen Reader.
Ryan Jones is a project manager and trainer at TPGi and has worked in the accessibility field for thirteen years. He has a Bachelor’s of Information Management from Auburn University and a Master’s of Vision Rehabilitation Therapy from Florida State University. Ryan lives in Lexington Kentucky and has been visually impaired since birth. His major hobby outside of work is a computer controlled Christmas light show he does each year with over 10,000 lights on his house synchronized to music.
Paul W. Schroder is Director of Public Policy and Strategic Alliances for Aira, which provides blind people with convenient, mobile access to visual information. He leads Aira’s public policy engagement and issue development related to state/federal programs, supports Aira’s business development, and manages the relationship with key organizations representing the interests of people with disabilities.
Matt Ater is the General Manager of TPGi. Matt brings over 25 years in accessibility support services. He began his career in training employees with disabilities (EWD) on the use of assistive technology, including developing a premere training programs at the Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind in Washington, DC. Matt ran the EWD Support Services for the Social Security Administration (SSA), supporting over 2,500 EWD at SSA.
Billy Gregory Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Billy Gregory is Director of Training with TPG. In his spare time, Billy is active in the Toronto Accessibility Community as Co-Organizer of “A11yTO” which organizes Accessibility Camp Toronto and its monthly meet-up group.
Matt Feldman is currently Director of Services at TPG, having joined the team in November 2016. He brings over eighteen years of experience with accessibility, information technology, policy consulting and program management. Before TPG, he served as Practice Manager and Engagement Manager with Deque Systems, overseeing large-scale accessibility transformations for numerous Fortune 500 companies.
Corinne Weible is the Deputy Project Director for the Office of Disability Employment Policy’s Partnership on Employment and Accessible Technology (PEAT), a multi-faceted initiative to help employers, IT companies, and others to understand why it pays to build and buy accessible technology, and how to do so.
