Knowledge Base
ARC Rules and Knowledge Base Content
We’ve made quite a few updates and additions to the Knowledge Base since our last newsletter: rules, testing procedures, reference guides, and accessible web content development articles.
Highlights include:
- Making changes to the Rules Engine and Knowledge Base: a new process you can use to suggest changes to how we interpret and address WCAG Success Criteria.
- Correct Accessible Name: new rule, test procedure, and recommendations.
- Table header cell is empty: previously skimpy guidance has been fleshed out.
- Android and iOS: a range of new and updated guidance related to WCAG conformance.
- 3rd Party Content: updated rule plus new guidance for some specific types of content.

Our Weekly Reading List is compiled from 492 RSS feeds and 55 email newsletters by Principal Technical Writer Ricky Onsman and published as a blog post every Monday. The emphasis is on digital accessibility industry news, averaging about 60 items per edition.

- Use Teams to ask questions or make content requests. We monitor discussions on these channels for new content opportunities:
- The Tech Chatroom channel for technical questions.
- The WCAG Deeper Dive channel for WCAG questions.
- The Content and Creation channel for content specific requests.
- Message the KC Team members (Hans Hillen, Ricky Onsman) directly.
- Submit a content request via Capture.
- To start a more permanent content related discussion or question, use the GitHub Discussions page, or log an issue in GitHub.
